The Eagle's Nest has only one step to the house and one step to the dock ON the Lake of Egypt. A paved sitting area is ideal for all ages to rest, play, and enjoy the view. A GRASSY YARD makes a great setting for yard games, while the PORCH & SUN ROOM are perfect for visiting, game playing, and plain RELAXATION. There is a COVERED, 2-slip BOAT DOCK with POWER for your boat(s), or you could rent our PONTOON for an additional fee. Rejuvenating
It was the perfect getaway for the Eclipse. We wanted to be away from the crowds since we have younger children and this was perfect! No matter where you were on the property you had a clear view of the sky. The rest was up to mother nature. She did not disappoint. Heather and Jeff were amazing! They were quick to respond and so accommodating. I would highly recommend this location or renting from any of their properties. We especially loved the sun porch and the covered dock. Many hours were spent relaxing and enjoying both. We would definitely stay again and hoping to.

We sure enjoyed our stay! The house was just as described and perfect for the 4 of us. We were able to enjoy coffee on the deck overlooking the water and after doing some wine tasting, enjoyed s’mores by the fire! We found the furniture comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed! Perfect stay
The house, property, and lake view are beautiful! The drive from the interstate to the property is very scenic. Fall colors were perfect for our trip timing. Everything at the property was perfectly as described. There is plenty of parking for family and guests. The kitchen, dining, and living area is a great open concept for hanging out with family and friends. Heather was very helpful and very responsive to messages. We highly recommend the property and hosts, and are already considering a return trip!
