Paid more for this hotel than we typically pay for a hotel here, but it was what was available. What we got for our money: a clean room with a reasonably comfortable bed. Hotel is noisy in comparison with others that are more modern. Pillows on the bed were old - out of 6 pillows in the room, all six were lumpy (as in they had several large lumps where the fill had separated) or like sleeping on an over-filled plastic bag. Room alarm clock was not re-set by cleaning staff so we had an unexpected alarm going off in the morning. Temperature in the room was uneven and seemed impossible to regulate better. Cold in sitting area room , burning up hot in the adjoining bedroom and vice versa. If you want a hot shower, this is not your hotel, although the water pressure was fine. I've had better showers at State Park restroom facilities. Overall, disappointed with this stay. We will not be staying at this hotel again even if it is the only thing available in the area. Our final decision is to get up earlier for our event and drive from another town rather than stay here again if all other places are booked.

Our room was not cleaned properly and the people who run the breakfast weren’t great. They didn’t know what food was for which table half the time. We will give them one more try.

The mattress was uncomfortable & hard and the pillows were awful. Unusual for Hilton. So we had little sleep. Then at 6:00 AM the bedside alarm went off. We did not set it. You would think the maid service would check for matters such as this from prior guests The fruit was all gone at the breakfast bar and we had to ask twice for it. We're going back to Holiday Inn from now on. Cheaper, better bedding, same good bfast.

Nice Hotel

Pros: The room was comfortable and the location was nice. We didn't have a water view, but I am sure that is a really nice view.
Cons: Communication at time of check in about amenities, options and account holds. We got a key and that was it.
Location: Central to the town square, there is plenty of shopping, theater and historical homes to see.
Had a nice, short visit to Granbury. My only three complaints are that I wish they had told me that the hold was 25.00 a night not just 25.00 as I thought I had been overcharged and wasn't pleased. Better communication would be helpful. Also, we weren't offered breakfast buffet at registration, didn't even know it was an option until we were checking out and I inquired about the large "incidental" hold on my account. Finally, most hotels in the area include a continental breakfast and they don't. which is fine. But water available in the gym would have been nice. Instead we had to go to the front desk and charge it to the room while sweaty and gross in front of all of the people who were dining on the breakfast buffet that we didn't even know was offered. A bit embarrassing.

Excellent motel next to city Beach

Pros: Location and staff
Location: Shopping , dining and Theater just down the road.
Staff very friendly with excellent service. Breakfast available in the motel at a reasonable price. On the lake, close to downtown and excellent restaurants. Kid friendly.
