We got there at 4:00 in afternoon our room was not ready.I explained we would go to dinner and be back by 5:00 to get ready for a 7:00 concert downtown. I was told my room would be ready when we returned. It was ready. Breakfast the next morning was great. Thank you.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection was ok. The carpet in the room was sticky. It felt like soap hadn't been removed after shampooing the carpet. Overall, this hotel was noisy and a good night's rest wasn't really possible even though the bed was comfortable. The room had a very loud mini-fridge, as in loud enough that you couldn't hear the television if it was on. There were also times it woke me up through the night. We were also located next to the ice machine room, which was also loud. We could hear people's conversations (not just muffled talking) while they walked down the hallway. The employee took notes during my checkout about our experience and informed us they were getting ready to renovate.

I booked a king room with microwave and refrigerator for a Saturday/Sunday visit with my family. I arrived to the hotel around 5pm. When I tried to check in, I was told that I didn’t have a reservation. After giving him my reservation number, he said he found me but I was already checked in and that is why he couldn’t find me. He finish checking me in and got me my card key. I went out, got my family, got our stuff, and headed up to the room. Upon arrival to the room we not only discovered that we were given a double queen room, but it was an occupied double queen room. Took everything back down from the third floor and finally got the unoccupied king room we had requested.

Very Clean and Friendly Staff

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, good location
Cons: Noise between floors
Location: Granbury is a quaint and growning destination with lots of shops and restaurants near by. And this is nestled in the middle of Lake Granbury.
Everything was nice and clean and very helpful staff. Hotel is a convenient location to local restaurants and other businesses. the only problem we had was the noise. We were on the second floor and you could hear people walking above us. And actually it sounded like there were kids running above us, until at least 2:30 A.M. I'm not sure how they can even solve this problem because it was a design flaw in the building.

My Granbury Adventure

I stayed at this hotel because it was the cheapest offer travel agency gave me. having no previous experience with la quinta inns, i was extremely pleased with my experience. it wasn't, of course, a four star hotel, but it was clean, the room was HUGE, the beds were comfy, the room was quiet and i'm assumming the walls were thick since my travelmate and i were doing all kinds of loud partying and there wasn't a single complaint. :) one particular stand-out to me was that the staff was SUPER friendly, very helpful, always saying hello and goodbye and smiling whenever we'd go in or out the door. it was one of the nicest things about my trip. it was a great deal and i'd definitely recommend this place to others.

New Hotel and Great People

I stayed to check out the new hotel and have found my home away from home. I usually stay in Granbury about 3 or 4 nights per week and have been disappointed with the areas selection until La Quinta opened. The staff is professional and helpful, would do anything for guests that needs to be done. Great Job Ladies
