Welcome to The Spruce Grove and enjoy mountain valley views on 5+ acres of Catskills land. Originally built in 1906, the home has been recently renovated and is just a 2.5 drive from NYC. Have your morning coffee on the back deck, create meals in the chefs kitchen, or spend a relaxing evening by the fire pit under the stars. Windham, Hunter and Plattekill Mountain ski resorts are just a short drive away as well as golf courses and many other outdoor activities.

THE SPACE

Enjoy four bedrooms (king, queen, full, two twin), two baths, living room with a fireplace (perfect for game night!), TV room, fully-stocked chef’s kitchen, and dining room. Connect your phone to the Marshall Acton II speaker inside or connect to the two portable JBL speakers and bring your music outside.
The property includes 5+ acres of Catskills land, including a plentiful evergreen forest, an outdoor fire pit and a propane grill. Spend warm evenings gathered around the outdoor dining table, grilling underneath the stars and spend snowy winters around the indoor fireplace listening to music and playing a board game with friends. During the day, take a quick drive to nearby spots for hiking, skiing, coffee, breweries and some of the best restaurants The Catskills' has to offer!

GUEST ACCESS
You'll have access to the entire property except the basement and attic. Owners closets will be locked but you'll have plenty of storage space for your own items.

Washer and dryer are only available to guests who stay more than 5 nights.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The house is located on a main road so there is some traffic noise. However, majority of the outdoor space is behind the house and away from the road. We provide sound machines in all bedrooms for guests for light sleepers.

All the bedrooms are on the second floor. Please note, to access bedroom four (queen bed), you will have to go through the second floor bathroom

Guests will have access to the propane grill in the spring and summer months. Please scrape and clean the grill before and after using and leave in fair condition. Guests are responsible for filling up the propane tank at the local super market/gas station if it's empty.

Up to 2 house trained dogs are welcome ($50 pet fee per dog)! We provide water and food bowls, treats and wipes for paws. However, dogs are not allowed on the furniture. Please note, we do not have a fenced in yard. Please let us know before booking as only pre approved dogs are allowed. Any damages caused by pets will be charged to guests. At this time, we are not allowing guests to bring cats or other pets. Sorry!

In the winter, our Nest thermostats are set to allow the heat to go up to 68° F.

We strongly advise cars with AWD/4WD in the winter. The Spruce Grove is on a well maintained road but when getting around or exiting the driveway, AWD/4WD is recommended.

While we do have a washer/dryer, it is only available to guests who stay more than 5 nights.
