When I got to the Hampton to check in, the person at the desk said there was a problem with our room. She said the TV was broken and it was still being cleaned. I had her call around to see if there were any other vacancies in town, there were not so she said she could take $20 off our room. The room was supposed to have a King bed and a pullout couch as well as a tub. The room had two queen beds and a pullout. Not a huge deal except the pullout mattress was very stained. The room had water damage to the ceiling and the wall paper was peeling off the wall. The bedding they gave me for the pullout was scorched or stained...I couldn’t really tell. The room only contained a shower. I feel I could have booked somewhere else as I made the reservation weeks in advance when there were many other available places to stay. I don’t feel $160 per night was a good value for this room and the staff was unwilling to compensate me further.

Great accommodations near airport

Pros: Complimentary breakfast with good variety.
Cons: Could make more room for guest check-in near front door by parking shuttle van elsewhere.
Location: Just down the hill from the airport at the first exit, this hotel is close to golfing at Meadowlark Country Club
We came to town for my wife's 50th high school class reunion. This Hampton Inn is convenient for any activities at the Country Club, and is close to the Great Falls International airport. As usual, Hampton Inn is a good value, with great accommodations and a friendly staff. We didn't use the airport shuttle, but rented a car for local travel. There is ample good parking, with convenient local restaurants and shopping within walking distance. There are exercise facilities, and an indoor pool with some hours reserved for adults-only. The complimentary breakfast from 0600-1000 had great variety, and changed the main course daily.

Will never stay at a Hampton Again

Pros: Free breakfast
Rooms grossly overpriced for what you get. Our room looked out onto an enclosed brick wall. That was really special! Coffee pot in room, but no fixings to make coffee. Didn't notice this until next morning. We wanted to enjoy a cup in our room instead of having to go right down to the breakfast facility, first thing. Rooms are pet friendly but according to the motel amenities that I printed from the computer, per night cost per pet was $10.00. When I got to the motel I was told that it was $20.00 per night. When I showed the printout, which I had just printed two days prior, I was told that too bad, it must be an old posting and the desk clerk had never heard of any Hampton only charging $10.00.
