1st room was moldy and the bathroom ceiling was bubbled with water and leaking. 2nd room had yellow stains on bedding. In the middle of the night an alarm in the hallways woke everyone up. There was no staff on site. It was going off for about 30 minutes. Breakfast was a joke. White bread and jelly pretty much.

Make yourself at home

Pros: Service, helpfulness, cleanliness, quiet, secure
Cons: The wi-fi runs a little spotty and slow sometimes, maybe during peak use by other hotel guests.
Location: Multiple hiking and biking trails within 10-15 miles. Good selection of low to medium priced restaurants. Right on the hwy, minutes from turnpike.
I stayed here for a week while working on a job nearby. The manager, Manoj, welcomed me at check-in and informed me of all available amenities: free wifi in the room, fresh coffee is maintained in the lobby for guests 24x7, free breakfast in the lounge from 6-9 every morning, a small fitness room and laundry are on-site too. It is a budget-type motel so the furnishing are not "fancy" like the boutique hotels I go to for vacations; but everything was clean, sanitary, comfortable, and in good working order. Linens are not "lush" but the sheets were clean and fresh-smelling and softer than what I have at home. There were plenty of towels, soap, kleenex, toilet paper. Housekeeping: Unless I hung my "do not disturb" sign, housekeeping cleaned the room every day, including restocking all supplies, changing all trash bins, and changing sheets and any towels that I had used. After a long workday, it was nice to return to a tidy, fresh-smelling room and a tightly made bed. This place is QUIET, even when the lot was full at night. Even on weekends. I did not hear noise in the hallways from inside my room. If there is any issue or question, the front desk cheerfully responds. Small example: One night I asked if they had hot water for tea instead of coffee in the lobby. They said they did not usually keep it ready because it was not usually asked for; but when I asked, they immediately prepared hot water for me and filled my little thermos to take back to my room.

Pleasant Staff and dog friendly!

Pros: The heating system was not overly loud as in many hotels. We asked for a main floor room as we had our dog and were cheerfully accommodated.
Both experiences checking in and out of the hotel were very pleasant. The hotel is older but on a quiet end of the road so no traffic noise and a wine store within walking distance for the thirsty traveler!

Avoid!!

On our way home from Washington we used a coupon to stay at this location but if we had not been so tired we would have kept on driving. Once we entered our wing, the stench of mould was overpowering. Although the room was clean, the A/C did not work and mould was visible on the ceiling. We can't believe that Quality Inn would allow this location to remain part of the chain.

The toilet seat was cracked, and had been that way for some time. Room was dirty; carpets were barely cleaned. Mold was in the tub area. Swimming pool was closed and in disrepair. No elevator, no air conditioning in the hallways. Lights were burned out in the room; light fixture did not work. There was a also a small hole in the wall. The front desk didn't seem to care. Hotel is badly in need of renovation and repairs. Although we were scheduled for two nights, we only stayed one and found a hotel across the street for the second evening. We will never stay here again, nor receommend it to anyone.

Avoid at al cost.

Desk clerk could not be found. Our reservation was wrong. When we pulled the covers back on the bed, , there was hair on the bed. There was an empty cup in the waste basket and a big clump of hair on the shower drain, Overall Disgusting

Poorly Maintained

The bed sheets didn't cover the matress. The bathroom drains did not work properly and when brought to the attention of the front desk, their reply was 'everyone who stays in that room complains about the drains'. The front desk attendant was pleasant and smiled as she said it though. We were sorely disappointed and left as exhausted as we were when we arrived. Even in a pinch, I would not stay here again.

Good value

We stayed here on the spur of the moment, not knowing what to expect. The front desk was very friendly.The room was OK...the halls slightly dreary, but all in all, a decent place to stay for the price. We would return if we found ourselves in the same circumstances.
