The room service would not answer for hours, our food wasn’t cooked the right way for paying as much as we did. The bed was wet when we arrived. The shower curtain was totally destroyed. Our door handle to the room was broken and we could not enter after leaving.

Front desk staff was horrible. Had an issue with the heat in the original room I was assigned. Had maintenance assist but couldn't correct the issue so needed to change rooms late at night. No assistance from staff - had to move and travel to front desk 3 times to get new key - no effort set forth by the staff for assistance at all. Changed to new room to have another family attempt to get into the room due to changes not completed at front desk. HORRIBLE STAY !!!!

One of the reasons I stay at this hotel over others is because it has an indoor pool, however, during our stay the pool was not heated and therefore very cold. In years past the breakfast has been much better. This year there was absolutely no meat served. I felt like I was being forced to be a vegetarian. Two of the three days there was French toast and one day there was gravy but nothing to eat it with (no biscuits). All three days there was oatmeal. One of the days it was so gummy I could hardly get it in my bowl. Once I had it back to my table I found out why, it was COLD even though it was in the warming table. One of the days there was no coffee in either urn and only enough hot water to fill half my glass. Food was not replenished. There was no bread to make toast one of the days and the milk for cereal was empty. The only saving grace was the omelet station. I am not sure if it was a matter of being understaffed or if the staff working was incompetent. One morning we waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come and seat us as requested by the sign to wait to be seated. Finding silverware was a bit of a scavenger hunt. I saw one guest who had his hands full with his plate and drink ask the staff about silverware and the staff just pointed to a cart, no effort made to assist the guest. I have been staying at this hotel each summer for the past 10 years and I fear it may be time for me to switch to a different hotel which is very unfortunate.

We arrived at 4:15pm for our 3pm check-in. The two frontdesk staff were doing there best to get everyone checked in; the computer system was down. When they manager/owner finally sautered up to desk, he was belittling to the staff and guest waiting. It was a solid 2 hours before we finally walked into our room. The room was clean enough, albeit torn wallpaper and crushed drywall right at eyelevel when laying on the bed. When one of the guest waiting with us asked for an adjustnent on bill for the inconvience, Mr. Patel said "why, the computer not working waxnt his fault". The system had not resolved but we finally convinced the staff to use a paper syatem. We will never stay there again! And, we have 4 more years visiting the area.

Tracey, We are sorry for the unpleasant experience. We did experience a system outage effecting our phones and computers that day. That issue has been resolved. We take your comments seriously and the ownership which is not in house and the management work together to increase guest satisfaction.

Well worth it

Our stay went really well. The room was spacious, well laid out and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will use this location again. The hot breakfast was extremely good.
