The hotel is convenient to downtown, the Haywood Mall and the Bon Secours Arena. The price was reasonable.

The outside of the hotel was nice and well kept and the lobby is colorful and inviting. But the employees were not personable or helpful. I booked a room for a few nights and was upcharged more money when it clearly stated said price but employee went back and forth with me until I just said forget from being so tired from a 9 hour travel. The rooms aren’t too bad but definitely not the best and could use an update/refresh. It smelled weird (but I fixed that during my stay). The bed spread seemed very old with stains on them and the tub’s shower floor was super rough and it didn’t have a stopper! Who doesn’t have a stopper for the tub/shower. I called down to the front desk and the employee said they “don’t have those things and to use the mat with the knob things facing up”…Uh, dear sir that still was a challenge to get the water to stay in. I will say the other guests were friendly. I did encounter and argument between a couple after they had been drinking.
