The property is really quaint! It's actually very nice, with a couple of patios, and my room had a table with chair just outside my door, a great place to just sit and relax. Though I could have sworn I had read the rooms had Air Conditioning, they do not. I was worried that this would be a huge issue because I live in a very hot area and cannot live without AC during the summer months, it was not an issue at all. The room did have a portable fan, which I used, but I would have been fine without it. The room was fine, the bed was comfortable, and bathroom was spacious and clean. The one thing I really didn't like were the ants in the bathroom. There were two tiny holes in the walls that gave the ants access. The ants did not go beyond the trail they made, but still, they are ants! The best thing about this property is location! It's in the best part of Ajijic, with so many great restaurants within a 3 block distance. The malecon, or esplanade, was just as close and a delight to walk. I would go back here because of the location. The employees were very friendly and answered all the questions I had. The bar never seemed opened, and no one was ever in it.
