MY ROOM WAS NOT WHEEL CHAIR ACCSESSABLE AS LISTED.

Pros: location, staff, cleanliness, layout and amenities.
Cons: tv had bad picture. bigger parking lot
Location: everything 2 do w/ ocean. good fresh seafood, lots of shoping
i am a c4-5 quadriplegic due to an auto accident. i go on vacation at least once every winter. this time i used Travelocity for the first time. the condo/hotel i booked said the room was a handicap accessible room with a roll in shower. to get in shower u have to go over a 6-7" step. i went 8 days without a shower. I expect this mistake to be handled quickly so other people do not get misled when they use your web site. if i am not helped out or partially reimbursed for your false listing i will never use your web site for any future vacations.

hotel was ok but underconstuction

Pros: The front desk security office was great he made us feel very welcome he need a raise!
Cons: having construction doing the offseason
Location: great location close to grocery store and restaurants
The hotel was under construction. with noise of the skill I was not able to get much rest, and the ocean had jelly fish in it so would have love to enjoy the out door pool area but it was close due to the construction.

Love, Love, Love this place!

Pros: Close restaurants, places to buy groceries very convenient!
Cons: No free Internet
This was our first visit, rented a two bedroom condo for 4 adults and 2 kids. It was perfect! So very roomy! Cooked out on the provided grill and ate at the picnic tables one night. We will definently try to come back next year!

Christmas in a Cave

Cons: No free Internet, no windows, ice maker only downstairs
We stayed three nights in a studio condo with living area/1 bedroom/bath/efficiency kitchen with half-refrigerator, microwave, 2-eye-cooktop. The unit was clean, new, well-appointed. The small print in the Travelocity info stated that the studio units did not face the Gulf of Mexico BUT nowhere was it said that the studio units do not have exterior windows. The only 'window' was in the living room, providing a view of the hallway, though across the hall there was a large window. The unit is 509 sq.ft., designed as an ancillary to a larger unit, when those owners need extra space. But renting this unit as a stand-alone left us in a claustrophobic cave. And there are so many signs everywhere with rules and threats about penalty charges that the environment was unfriendly. The indoor swimming pool and hottub were attractive, and the outside views of the Gulf and the beach were lovely, of course. Going to Orange Beach AL is terrific, but stay at the Hampton Inn.

time share hotel was great with great view and good price, only problems are hot tub was not working and in process of being repaired, no WI FI, but internet service available at office, stayed here before was repeat customer.

All employees were wonderful and treated you like a king

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, great staff
Great location on the beach - Great bang for your buck - Very friendly and helpful employees (from the desk to the guard) - Great facilities (pools, exercise area, outdoor grills and parking garage) - I highly recomend Escapes to the Shores.

Super Staff and Great Treatment by everyone!!!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, on the shore
Escapes to the Shores, just like the Name, right there on the Shore, super experience, friendly staff and guest! Very clean common areas, super pools! Rooms are clean, beds are very nice! Fun for the whole family, plenty to do at the Escapes, and in Orange Beach and the Golf Shores area, the local people make you feel at home!!

Very nice accommodations! Would/will definitely return.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Stayed 2 nights in late December for a quick getaway for our wedding anniversary. We were very pleased with our room & condo ameneties. We had a beachfront condo with amazing views of the coast. The location was ideal for us. There are several restaurants to choose from nearby and the outlet mall was only a 10-15 minute drive away. Of course the water was too cold to swim (in December), but we took long walks on the white sand beach. We'll certainly visit Escapes again!!

Wonderful hotel!

The customer service was wonderful!!! We arrived at 10am the day of our check-in and asked if we could check-in early and were told that we could use all amenities including the pools and private beach until our room was ready. By noon our room was ready and we were able to settle in 4 hours earlier than regular check-in. The staff is very friendly and are willing to help answer any questions. The only negative we had was that we signed up (& payed) for a continental breakfast that was to be served at nine in the morning and when we went down at 9:45 it was no longer being served. Though we only payed a minimal $2.00 per person, it was inconvenient because we had to go and find breakfast elsewhere. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would recommend the Shores to ANYONE!
