Holiday Inn Express Orange Beach is located on the beach and in a walkable area with good shopping. Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Gulf Shores Beach and Gulf State Park. Adventure Island and Gulf Adventure Center at Gulf State Park are also worth visiting.
The location was perfect but the service was terrible. Most of our group never got their rooms cleaned. They told me that the cleaning staff came at 9:30 am and the do not disturb was on so they never came back even though it was gone by 10:00. The front desk staff was not knowledgeable of the area so they weren’t helpful. The breakfast was good and the view from the ocean view rooms were great
I have stayed there many time as well as booking for family and friends. Always enjoy!!
Not enough hot water
The property was clean and updated and the breakfast was amazing. The maintenance man was very helpful in changing my flat tire!!!! But .... after a day of shopping I came back to find my room had been left open by the housekeeping staff! I tried calling the front desk but there was no answer. I went downstairs and found no one at the desk. After 30 minutes I felt extremely unsafe and called corporate for help. Eventually, the girl at the front desk called me to reassure that I was safe and stated that she was in the restroom, but over 30 minutes is a long restroom break! I don’t think I will stay there again.
