Great home away from home
Multiple members of my and my extended family stayed at this house to be near family after my grandmother's passing. It was large enough to accommodate several adults and teenagers. We had plenty of space to move around. The beds were very comfortable. We will stay there again when in the area visiting family.

Older house, but comfortable and clean
Overall, we enjoyed the house and it is very comfortable, with a few weird aspects. Communication with Jason was somewhat slow and frustrating at first, but then it improved once we were put in touch with his partner, Theresa. We had to push our travel dates forward two days because of Covid, and I struggled to properly explain our request. When Jason finally understand the request, he did allow us to rebook at no cost which was appreciated. But when we arrived at the property, we had not been given access yet. I had to call and text a few times before we got in touch with someone. The house has a lot of room and is nicely laid out. It was very clean upon arrival. The mattresses and pillows seem close to new and are very comfortable. However, not all the mattresses have mattress covers/pads which always worries me due to the possibility of bed bugs. The kitchen is small, but functional. The countertops are painted in a faux finish which scraped off easily. The appliances all worked and seemed in good condition. There were a ton of plates and silverware, but not enough mugs or glasses, and it was missing a few items that would be really useful such as a pair of scissors and small cutting knives. There were no steak knives either, but we didn't eat steak so it was ok. The kitchen was well-stocked with detergent for both handwashing and the dishwasher, along with paper towels and coffee for the Keurig machine. The paintings and window treatments appeared to be held up with trim or panel nails as opposed to drywall hangers, so we learned to not touch or breathe near these. This didn't impact our stay--we were just really careful not to brush against anything hanging up. The bathrooms were really clean and well-stocked with toiletries and supplies. Water pressure and temperature were really good. There were no hand towels, but there were an abundance of bath towels and wash clothes so it was fine. The only really frustrating aspect of the stay was the HVAC system. We could not stabilize the temperature. I tried to program it for a set point of 75 but the temperature fluctuated between 62 and 78. The system would report a temperature of 62 inside when the set point was 75 but would still blow cold air! One day the temperature outside reached 98 and the system couldn't handle it. The inside temperature continued to climb until the sun had set and it had cooled off outside.

Double Booked, Broken AC, Wrong Entry Code
When we arrived at the property, our entry code did not work. Took over an hour and a half to hear back from anyone. When we finally got inside (through a randomly unlocked back door) we found the AC to be broken and the house not cleaned. Then another family arrived who had booked the same house for same weekend. The clothes dryer didn't work, there were no pans, pot holders etc in the kitchen and master bedroom has no AC vents. And we were expected to coordinate the AC repair service. And the property manager never checked in to see if repairs had been done.

Family Christmas Trip
Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay in this house. We rented it for a week and needed a location close to our other family. The layout is nice and has plenty of space for people to gather in the living room and in the dining area. We would rent again, but there are a few things that could use improvement and the house needs a little TLC. However the beds were all very comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. - Kitchen - The countertops appear to be painted and flaking off. Every time we wiped the counter the rag would be dark. - Many basic cooking utensils/implements were missing. No skillets, no baking sheets, limited spoons/spatulas, and I had to buy dish towels, dish cloths and oven mitts. The oven temperature also was pretty questionable. - There are broken tiles between the kitchen and the family room, could be dangerous for little ones because the tile shards can be lifted up. - There could be more bath and hand towels, but at least there is a washer/dryer. - The bunk bed in the basement is super squeaky, just turning over causes a ton of squeaks. Maybe something just needs tightened. Overall the stay was a positive one and my family had a nice time. It was a little challenging cooking Christmas dinner in the kitchen but we made it work. Checkout was super easy and communication with the property manager was great. Thanks!

Review
Very happy with property. Quiet neighborhood. Patio and fenced yard, even a garage we could use. Spacious, plenty of room for the 10 of us. Kids loved all the room and the pool table. We've stayed in several time shares and we use the kitchens and this was by far the best stocked kitchen we've ever had. Home even had plenty of laundry soap, shampoos and TP. Andrew, our host, was great and quick to answer any questions we had concerning our week there. Located in between Cincinnati and Dayton, we traveled back and forth. We went to the Cincinnati Zoo, kayaked in Loveland. Don't miss the National Air Force Museum in Dayton. It was free and all the guys loved it. The property needed weeded, few places where carpet showing wear, a few chipped tile pieces, but overall we were very happy. If we ever decided to go back to Cincinnati we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the least.
