We don't mind quaint, older facilities lacking amenities. However, the water quality from the bathroom sink and shower was like nothing we've seen in decades. Full of iron is one thing, but the cloudiness of the water in a clear glass seemed to indicate bad plumbing. Knowing that this property is located in a rural farming area, with unknown ground water status, was enough to prompt us to limit exposure. A decent night's rest, but we know we paid way too much for a night -- especially since the rates posted by the (new?) property owner on their large sign is roughly 1/2 the Travelocity rate we paid, even with a booking at least 2 weeks in advance!

Disgusting and smelly. Room was not ready at 4:30 pm as he was washing the sheets. I did not stay on property.

Bathrooms could use a remodel. Everything is rather 70s era. Other than that it IS what it advertises as.... a cheap motel located on a highway in the middle of nowhere.

In my opinion, the rates are too high for what you get., it was just a plain room with 2 beds,TV, the whole room smelled like bug spray, the doors have clear plastic on them, don't know why, When driving to the hotel, it is a little hole in the wall hotel on the side of the road, It says there is a garden and grills, none there. The staff was not very outgoing, would never book with them again, Very disappointed. Beds were very uncomfortable. I could have gotten much better accommodations if I slept in my van.

We work hard to ensure clean and comfortable rooms by freshening up all rooms before there are any check ins for that day along with having new beds. What you smelled was our air freshener, not bug spray. I am sorry that it smelled strong. There are multiple places within ten miles to choose from for your dining needs. We appreciate your feedback and will put that towards improvements regarding all issues you listed.
