This creekside property is a nature-lover's paradise! It includes 3 spacious bedrooms on the second floor that can sleep 7 comfortably. There is an eat in kitchen, living room with smart TV and a reading room. Wireless internet available throughout the house. Air conditioning throughout the house. Washer and dryer on site as well. At night, a fire pit creates the perfect setting for outdoor relaxation. (Firewood provided by hosts) Large wooden swing in yard by creek to enjoy the wildlife and evening sunsets. Spend your days fishing, swimming kayaking, or simply lounging by the water. You can easily take a day trip to Gettysburg, Baltimore, Washington, DC and Hershey Park. If you need anything, owners are conveniently located next door to the property. (Please be sure to specify if you will be bringing dogs)

This place is located near the Appalachian Trail. We hiked through the Cumberland Valley during our stay. The location is near Boiling Springs, a charming small town with a Appalachian Trail Conservancy office.

Quick getaway to visit family
We stayed here for the weekend to visit our daughter at Dickinson College. This place was charming and exactly as described. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Perfect holiday
This spot was perfect for our family of 4, plus our dog. The house was extremely clean, had more than enough room, and even had some basic provisions. The location couldn’t be better. We were just 7 minutes from our family in Carlisle; there were several options for peaceful, gorgeous walks, and it had the sound of the big creek flowing by. Our host was right next door and communicated when needed, but we never saw them (a plus). I will definitely stay there again.

Such a calming, beautiful place.
Mike and Sue's home was cleaned, stocked with everything we'd need (and a welcome bottle of wine to boot!) The setting was so calming with the babbling creek just off the porch. We had a fire each night (logs provided) too. Mike couldn't have been more helpful solving a TV glitch that came up, coming over at dinner time to help solve it. The nearby train whistle could be an issue for some but overall, it was a great stay.
