The lobby was sketchy, the room was half way clean looking, no toilet paper, toilet was stained, floor was dirty, coffee pot was broke, and morning staff person was not happy to be at her job or to see us come to the desk. So all in all I’d rate this stay a 5 out of 10.

Not as handicapped accessible as should be but overall it was good. The Manager and the director of Maintenance are outstanding people and work well as a team. He made the accommodations very comfortable. To the Mr. and Mrs. managerial team we thank you. Outstanding, especially with putting our needs first. Ben would be an outstanding candidate for overall management. Thanks

Booked room thru Travelocity with 4 rooms available at the time. Only to get a call 1 hr later from Candlewood saying no rooms available.

It was clean but we had problems.

We arrived after 1:00 in the morning. The night clerk tried to help us with the shower in our 1st room. There was no instructions as to how to turn the water from tub to shower. The tv would not work in the bedroom. The 2nd room she assigned us turned out to already be occupied when we entered the key card. We went back to the desk. We were given another room that was a down size. It was once a smoker’s room and smelled of old smoke. It was now almost 2:00 so we just went to bed. The next morning we expected a Continental breakfast but there wasn’t one. We checked out with the morning clerk and was told the manager would call us about changing out charge for the inconvenience. We have not heard from them as of Sunday night.

One night stay. Close to highway we were traveling

Pros: Size of room and convenience to highway.
Cons: Quality of Mattress and sheets.
Foul odor inside front entrance. Odor in hallway and smelled of tobacco even though it was a non smoking room. Bed was not comfortable and sheets were to rough.

Amazing Value!

What we loved about this hotel:  Full kitchen, including dishwasher, cooking utensils, stovetop and microwave; very large table for working & eating; comfortable living room with recliner, lots of seating; very comfortable bed and good pillows; softer, thicker towels than we would have expected; free laundry facilities; exercise room and access to a nearby fitness center. Add to that the wonderful Southern hospitality of the staff, and we were very happy with this hotel. All this for a very reasonable price, too.
