Everything just felt dirty. The room was awful. It smelled like stale cologne. The bathroom did not feel clean. The floors just felt dirty, I didn’t want to take my socks off!

Just a nice hotel to stay at. Bed was a little firm for my liking, But that's a personal preference. I still slept well as it wasn't so firm that I couldn't sleep because I'd wake up from pain in my hips (a problem I had not too long ago at a different hotel). That would be my only "complaint" if I had one.

Friendly staff, horrible room!

Staff was very friendly. Room seemed clean but old. We were on the ground floor but the room never cooled off, despite my setting the thermostat down to 65. A/C ran constantly and made banging noises that kept us awake all night. I looked into the vent and saw what appeared to be insect/rodent droppings, cigarette ashes, and/or who knows what else. I stepped on a roach while getting out of bed this morning. Great way to start the day! Bathtub was very old, had caulk repairs in many places and the bottom of the tub had several patched places. I attempted to contact customer service before posting this, but was unsuccessful. I completed an online form on the hotel's website and typed my experiences and concerns on the onlibe form, but the system wouldn't let me submit it because I "hadn't selected a state" (I had selected a state!). Gave up on that and called customer service number. The rudest lady in America assisted me, (if you want to call it that). She was so rude and I was so frustrated with all I'd gone through just trying to notify somebody about my experience, that I finally told her nevermind. And did I mention this was a mini-vacation for my daughter and me before taking her to her freshman year orientation this morning? What an unfortunate series of events leading up to her exciting day. I'm $150 poorer and really, really tired and frustrated.

Amazing Quality for the Price

We've stayed here several times and regardless of the season it?s been flawless. Hotel is newish; d?r isn?t plush but is lovely, staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, have high speed internet (wireless in common areas), spotless bathrooms with bright light. The all new bedding is comfortable and cozy ? no more removing suspect bedcovers upon arrival! All covers are freshly laundered for each new guest. A white duvet cover hides nothing. Breakfast is great and hot coffee, tea and fruit are always available in common area.
