I like the location and staff are very friendly and professional, clean facility, good parking. Have stayed several times over the last few years. The snacks available to purchase at the desk are a nice selection and can be prepared in rooms microwave or stored in the frig. They serve a light breakfast in the mornings which has been excellent in the past. Downside this trip (was there for a week) was the pool was out of commission with an unavailable part needed to repair it. The breakfast has changed drastically per Marriott corporate mandate and is not very good. They are now serving prepackaged breakfast sandwiches, prepackaged waffles, prepackaged muffins, lowfat milk (only option) nonfat yogurt (only option). All items that can be served in vending machines. No more homemade waffles, scramble eggs or eggwhites, no fresh pastries or breads to toast, no hard boiled eggs, no selection of whole milk or whole yogurts, no fresh bacon, sausage, or canadian bacons, no fresh biscuits or sausage gravy. The juice and coffee selections are the same. The cooked oatmeal with toppings is still offered. Another issue Housekeeping overlooked servicing my room all week, no fresh towels or emptying trashcans. I had requested daily service when I checked in as they usually do it every 3 days (started during Covid 2 years ago). Unexpected overlook by staff. I didn't complain as I was out of the room for long hours during the days I was there but told the desk on my checkout.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Slippery Rock but sits on a large parcel next to a hillside cemetary so it is both picturesque, quiet and still conveniently located in town.The staff are very friendly and personable, The breakfast in the mornings is good and varied with something for everyone. The mattresses could be a little firmer. Its a good place to stay and the rates are reasonable.

We stayed for a week. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was varied and nice to have on site. Downside was they did not make up the room daily due to covid restrictions, just every 3rd day. It was not explained to me until I checked out that I could have requested a daily service.

Everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and appreciated that we were guests. All smiles, extra touches like the served breakfast, proividing extra towels upon request even before we arrived at our room. We have traveled over most of the US and never found a more welcoming and friendly staff. This was our second stay here and we hope to return someday.

DID NOT LIKE THE ENTRANCE TO THE HOTEL. IT WAS VERY AWKARD GETTING IN AND OUT OF THE FACILITY THRU THIS LONG WINDING ROAD.

They need more rollaway beds available. The property leading up to the hotel is a mess as is the road pavement. Was happy with pleasant staff, free breakfast and our room. However, we were put in a handicap accessible room with an adjoining room and the guests in the next room were loud and no respect for others in hotel. Not everyone needed to be up at 7:45am when she was having a conversation on her cell while it was on speaker. So not only her voice but the person on the other end! Rude! So thin walls and the joining door. Thankfully, we were only there one night or would have asked to be moved.

had a great and relaxing stay

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: Poor breakfast
As soon as we arrived on the lobby, my husband and I we're greeted by the friendly staff. The Front Desk Lady was so helpful, and made sure we have everything we need. Our room was upgraded to a King size Suite which was so roomy, modern, clean and cozy. The bed linens were clean and fresh and our room has two big LCD TVs, one in the small living area and another on the adjacent bed area. We had a comfortable and relaxing stay. I love their little convenience/snack store in the lobby. The breakfast was ok, not much selection compared to other hotels or inns. All our stay in any Marriotts accommodation is always pleasant and enjoyable experience.
