Fantastic place to stay, with central location

This hotel is definitely worth its four stars, if not five. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, made us feel at home and ensured all our needs were met, during our two night stay. The dog welcome pack, was a really nice touch - thank you Fiona. As it was a birthday celebration, we were thrilled to get a room upgrade. Rooms are beautifully decorated, in a boutique style. Clean, spacious and comfortable beds. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent value and the northumbria breakfast was delicious. They even catered for the dog, offering scrambled egg and sausage. We would definitely recommend and stay again, without a doubt. This hotel exceeded our expectations and Hexham certainly is, the happiest place in England, with plenty to explore and do.

Very charming place, modern where it counted (bathroom was clean and nice, bed fresh and comfy.) Staff was friendly and helpful. One block from the bus station, which made it quite convenient for hiking on Hadrian's Wall and exploring the countryside. The included breakfast was great. We ended up eating several dinners here as well because the food was so good. Would definitely stay here again, and in fact have already booked for next year.

    Weekend

Rooms and bed rather small and parking in the town was not what is normally expected of boutique hotel. The staff where very helpful and breakfast was very good.
