    Not the best part of our vacation..

    Our service was not too bad at all. The front desk staff had already checked me in, 45 minutes prior to my arrival, which was odd. I know this because I received an email from Hotels.com asking how my check-in went, while i was still enroute. The bar staff.. she was amazing and the Jack and Coke made the pool experience somewhat bearable. We started to go to the pool and were directed to the kiddie pool, which had a sign saying closed on it. When we got inside, it was overrun. I overheard one of them mention being an employee. The shower inside of the pool area ran for the entire time (well over an hour) we were there. The smell of marijuana was wafting in the doors that opened to the outside. The mothers were holding the door open so they could smoke and watch their kids at the same time. When we went to leave the pool, the towels were all being used as a cushion and there were none left for anyone else. So, yes, my 8 and 11 year old walked through the entire hotel, to our rooms dripping wet the entire route. Unfortunately, i was unable to use the hot tub onsite because we were sent to the back pool instead. The bathroom sink, in our room did not drain. That could have been due to the fruit flies nesting inside it. They were appalled when i turned the water on and i swear I felt a tiny fly hand slap me for disturbing their homestead.

    Upon checking in we were greeted by Tyshion Williams at the front desk and he was very accommodating and friendly and he even assisted us with our first floor request. The hotel could use a little work and a few minor repairs but it was clean and the decor has been updated. The free breakfast was probably the best free hotel breakfast I've ever had. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

    Customer service is EXCELLENT. Staff members are kind, accommodating and go above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The bathrooms could’ve been cleaner, though.
