This property is just average. I booked a king bed w/ocean view two weeks ahead of time. When I arrived at the hotel they had no king beds available. They did give me a 50.00 credit per night. On the other hand they charge you a resort fee daily of 26.75, even if you do not use any of the amenities. The food in the restaurant and drinks are very expensive and again nothing special. The hotel is clean, it is old and dated. The rooms and the hallway have a musty smell. The elevators in the hotel are scary. The last visit to Hilton Head we stayed at the Omni and the Westin on a previous visit. Both are a little more expensive, but are worth the additional cost.

I was put in a connecting room even though I was traveling alone. My neighbor was so loud, I had to move rooms 2 floors up. I’m not sure why they put me in a connecting room in the first place? For $350 a night, I need peace and quiet!
