We came for a 3-day weekend trip to Grand Rapids to see a friend. Our Delta flight was delayed overnight because of weather. We called travelocity to tell them we were stuck at the airport. The hotel said it that not only could it not refund the first night, but because it was considered a "no show" we couldn't stay in the hotel when we arrived, and they wouldn't give us any refund. They said if we wanted to stay there, we'd have to pay for another room, and they would not give any refund for the first room.

The keys of the rooms were not working, so I had to use a master key. But had leave my room open and return the key to the front desk.. wasn’t happy with that part. Other than that the staff was very friendly and the place was very clean

For some reason my reservation was under my Maiden name so they couldn't find me. The next morning, I got a call from the front desk reminding me checkout was at 11 . I explained I had the room for 2 nights. I went to the front desk and they found my 2nd night reservation under my married name. Both reservations were made at the same time. The staff was very nice in both circumstances and didn't make me feel alarmed. The room was clean, we didn't have towels or soap, shampoo, etc. I had to go to the front desk to ask. We checked in at 10 pm on a Sunday night so they had time to add additional items. I understand things happen and the front desk attendant was nice and gave me the items I asked for. The room did smell musty, I do have a sensitive nose :) Due to covid- they weren't serving breakfast which should have been noted on their website. I suppose if I would have looked at the state guidelines from the governor it would have been listed. The price, location and staff all worked out for us.

Room 133 bathroom was not in good shape. Very rundown looking. Patchy tiles and grout, disgusting shelf.
