It was conveniently located to the beach, an ABC store which my husband and son were very happy about and had many restaurants close by. We were quite shocked by the $250 we were charged for cleaning when we left. There was no maid service during our stay, we had to ask for clean towels, etc. when needed. We've stayed at other condos in Hawaii and did not have an extra charge upon checkout. Zach the person at the front desk was amazing! Very friendly, always acknowledging us when we left and came back and always asked if we needed anything. The day person at the desk (don't know his name) barely acknowledged us.

Staff was great but hotel needs lots of work. Elevators continued to break, had to climb stairs 3 days out of 6 Laundry facility is terrible and dirty. Closet like as you barely fit. Bathroom sink is weird - looks like a mop sink and faucet is terrible almost touching sink. We had to use kitchen sink to wash up Showers curtain doesn't cover the bottom so water everywhere Don't provide cleaning throughout stay but charge you for cleaning when you leave. Parking is crowded and small area by dumpsters(you can smell it) but pay $35 a day even though your staying there.

Great Family Set Up

Pros: The location, casual and helpful attitude of the staff, a nice room with pleasant furnishings.
Cons: The lobby/elevators could be "freshened up." They were a little dingy and smelled of fabreeze...the room was nice and generally clean though.
Location: Great location, nice to have convenience stores, nice restaurants and banks right there.
Our family enjoyed our stay at the Outrigger Regency on Beachwalk. The location was perfect for the things we needed/wanted to do in town. Longs, ABC and 7-11 marts were right there for convenient pick-up of the things we needed for the kids and basic food like milk, juice, eggs, etc--and not as expensive as we thought. The kitchen facilities were nice and spacious and we enjoyed the furnishings too. Two balconies was nice and we all had a nook in the room for our own space. The staff was friendly and helpful....really a great place for families.
