Both the hotel and room were clean, and the employees that I interacted with were pleasant. Don't go for the pool as it was closed for renovation. This wasn't an issue since I was there in February, but I'd be rather disappointed in the next month or so if I showed up and didn't know this ahead of time. My overall experience was good, but I guess as an Expedia gold member in an Expedia VIP hotel I was expecting more. There were no additional perks given whatsoever. Usually I can expect free breakfast or a room upgrade or something...but nada.
