Imagine mornings watching the cool mist rise off of the reflections of undeveloped forest, the “sound” of silence, beautiful views of sunset on the water, and potluck barbeque dinners on the back deck with friends. At the end of the day, enjoy the night sky the way it was intended, without any light pollution! If you’re looking for a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you’ve found the right place.

A shared dock gives full access to this serene no wake cove for swimming, paddleboarding, and docking your boat, so you can enjoy all the lake has to offer.

Our pet friendly atmosphere allows you to enjoy this setting without having to leave your canine family members behind.

Within a 30 minute drive, Smith Mountain Lake offers access to horseback riding, golf, hiking trails, and wineries. The nearby state park includes a small beach for younger visitors. This is Virginia's most popular lake and is a fisherman's paradise, with over 500 miles of shoreline on this 40-mile long, 20,000 acre lake stocked with bass, muskies, northern pike and panfish.

High-speed internet allows for viewing movies and shows from your own streaming accounts and the occasional remote work if absolutely necessary.

This two-bedroom, one bath cabin has a fully stocked kitchen and a charcoal grill for use on the full length deck.

A common dock is shared with neighbors in Cabin 1.

Great Experience and Beautiful Cabin
My husband and I had the best experience with this cabin stay. The view was gorgeous and it was so peacefully quiet every day we were there. The only sounds you would hear throughout the day were the birds, the water and the occasional boat passing by. The cabin itself was spotless and they had everything you could need for a long weekend stay available to you. We were able to cook a nice dinner every night and have a nice full breakfast every morning. Oh, and the shampoo/conditioner that was provided smelled AMAZING. We also loved that the hosts &cabin are dog friendly and had little treats/wipes available for our little girl, Mokka. The shared dock was very nice and we were able to load onto our paddleboards with ease. We absolutely loved our stay and we plan on coming back for another getaway in the future!

Everything about this stay was excellent. Ken and Cindy were always prompt to send responses. They even accomodated early entry for us on the day of check-in. The location of the cabin cannot be any better. I was especially impressed by the attention to detail that the owners have in stocking up anything and everything that one might need during their stay - from board games to utensils to even a tick-bite kit! They even had 2 kayaks. We did not use those because of the winter though. The rooms were adequately kept warm, mattresses were good, bathroom was in excellent condition. Overall, it couldn't have been better. We will definitely go back again.

Magical place to visit during the fall! The deck has the most amazing views of the lake and is the perfect spot for morning yoga! Cabin felt inviting and cozy. Everything was perfect!! Thank you to the hosts for providing such a lovely property!
