Villa Tranquila is the perfect basecamp to explore all the amenities the Palmas del Mar community has to offer - which include beach, pools, tennis, golf, trails, and much more! The villa is impeccably decorated and boasts over 1,800 square feet of construction, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a garden terrace with grass patio, gas grill, outdoor breakfast table, and outdoor seating. Villa Tranquila is conveniently located across the street from the pool and children's park.

1) PRE-ARRIVAL COVID TESTING: Travelers entering any of the Island’s three open airports are required to fill out a Travel Declaration Form through the Puerto Rico Health Department’s online portal, get a PCR molecular COVID-19 test (nasal or throat swab) no more than 72 hours prior to visiting the Island and show proof of a negative result. These are strict government regulations and we encourage you to please visit the link below for the latest travel requirements to the island.
2) POOL & COMMON AREAS: Some common areas in many communities around the island are still closed - or with limited capacity - due to COVID-19. This could include pools, tennis courts, and children parks. Please reach out to us prior to booking if you would like to know the status of common areas.
3) MASKS: Masks are mandatory when in public and in all common areas. Please be ready to travel with and bring masks for your stay.
4) CLEANING PROCEDURES: We have updated our cleaning procedures to include industry best practices in response to COVID-19. We are using disinfectant cleaning products on all surfaces and are programming a 24 hour gap between check-outs and check-ins. Our cleaning staff wears PPE during the entire cleaning and disinfecting process.
5) BEACH CLUB: The Beach Club mentioned in the listing has yet to re-open due to the pandemic. It is unavailable to the public until further notice.
The main level has an open concept layout that connects the dining room, living room, kitchen, and terrace. The kitchen has granite countertops and a center isle so that whoever is cooking is always part of the group. The dining table comfortably sits six and overlooks the patio with views of the resort. The living room has a comfy sectional sofa, flat-screen TV, and cable TV. The terrace has a 2-person outdoor dining table great for a morning coffee and two comfortable exterior sofas.. The terrace also has a gas grill for outdoor cooking and a convenient window and counter that connects to the kitchen for easy handover of ingredients, drinks, and cooked food.
The master bedroom has 1 king bed with flat-screen TV, walk-in closet, reading area, private bathroom, and patio views. The master bedroom also has a separate door for direct access to the terrace. The 2nd bedroom has 1 queen bed with a full closet. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds, full closet, and a desk in case you need to get some work done. All bedrooms are appointed with top-notch furnishing and resort-quality linens. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share a full bathroom.
Villa Tranquila has a beautiful and spacious kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a center isle with electric stovetop and oven, and all the cooking accessories you need for an extended stay. You’ll love how the cook is always part of the group – whether folks are at the dining table, living, room, or terrace. There is also a convenient window to the terrace you can use to send appetizers and drinks to folks outside.
Villa Tranquila is located within the largest resort community in Puerto Rico, Palmas del Mar. Palmas del Mar offers wonderful mile-long beach, multiple dining options, marina, tennis, and golf – among other offerings. The resort has miles and miles of running and cycling trails. There is also a community pool a 1-minute walk from the property.

Golf at one of Palmas del Mar’s two 18-hole Golf Courses. Tee times can be booked over the phone.
Tennis at the Palmas del Mar Athletic Club with 20 courts that include artificial grass, Har-Tru Clay, and hard courts.
Lunch or dinner at “La Pescaderia,” an oceanfront restaurant by the marina with some of the best seafood on the island.
Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.
Chill at the beach! It is a 5-10 minute golf cart ride away, is a mile-long, and has a great beachfront grill!

You can experience Palmas del Mar exclusive Beach Club facility in Humacao, PR by purchasing a day pass. The Beach Club at Palmas del Mar includes a large adult swimming pool, 16-foot water slides with over 200 feet of aquatic activities for the kids to enjoy and many more! The Beach Club is equipped with a bungalow-style pavilion with breathtaking views of the Caribbean. There is a 1,100 square foot waterworks play system, as well as a wading pool with its own slides, spray jets, water valves, and a giant spill bucket.

It is important to note that there is limited space available, the passes are subject to availability. If the Beach Club has reached its overhead capacity it is possible it might affect the chances of purchasing a day pass.
West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.
West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 2 rolls of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.
The advertised cleaning fee covers cleaning before check-in and after check-out. Daily housekeeping can be requested at an additional cost of $99.00 per night. Daily housekeeping must be requested immediately after booking and it is subject to availability.

NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please keep noise levels down during these hours out of respect to the neighbors.
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 6 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.
Do not hang towels from the balcony or windows. A $100 fine may be applied if you break this rule.
