The facilities are very clean and pretty. However there was no hand soap or a blow drier in the room. My wife and I stayed in the room and there was only 1 bottle of shampoo and 1 bottle of conditioner.

Pictures of pool did not match reality:( still beautiful surroundings but why lie on Travelocity ? No elevator Very bare amenities No shop with sunscreen room sliding glass door was locked ( no fresh air) and was dirty with mold

We verified our pool pictures in Travelocity and all are updated. In addition, all the facilities information is up to date since we do not advertise to have a shop on premises or elevators. Sliding doors are locked for security reasons.

Beautiful ocean side facility still had some damage from the previous hurricane Maria. it was great to step outside on the beach and see the sunrise and sunset daily. An issue I had was the low water pressure on toilet. Had to flush 10 times to even make tissue go down. Staff was called to repair but problem continued each time, so I assume it’s the pressure of water pipes. Staff was excellent. Food on property was overpriced and not great, my breakfast had raw potatoes and gave me a stomach bug. I told the waitress about the raw potatoes and she only agreed. Didn’t offer to change the plate. Coffee was awesome though. I would stay again and recommend but eat outside the vicinity. Lots of delicious dining choices near the facility.

Hotel didn’t have much to do . The food was not good and expensive and also drinks The beach was to dirty to go in. The resort was so far from san juan had to pay 70 dollars on the can to get there in a hours and half so much traffic. The place don’t have elevators, not a place i would go back to.

Dear Carie, We apologize that your expectations were not met. Palmas del Mar is about 50 miles from San Juan and it is advertised that way. At the same time, because our buildings are Spanish style villas, with 3 floors, we have taken care of not advertising that we have elevators. Regarding the food, we offer daily happy hours and a variety of menu prices ranging from just a couple of dollars for snacks to more expensive items at any of our 8 venues of food and beverages. Regarding the beach, which is not part of the resort, most probably had sargassum which the residential community in Palmas del Mar cleans regularly. That is unfortunately out of anyone's control.
