I booked a non-smoking room. The room had smoke odor . The maintenance sprayed 2x which helped a little but the odor still lingered. It was suggested to me that I opened a window. I didn't feel safe opening a window in a room on the 1st floor. All of the rooms were booked so I couldn't move to another room. I ran the bathroom exhaust fan all night which disturbed my sleep. My clothes also had the smell of smoke and the spray. I was looking forward to a pleasant night at your hotel but this situation was very disappointing.

No Problems

Located behind Burger King on University Ave in Huntsville, I stayed here for a week. It is always a classy chain, breakfast was free and good 4 out of 5 times I ate it (Friday eggs were runny, but their microwave right there in the breakfast bar fixed that after 2 min. nuking). I would recommend it for sure.

Good hotel and excellent location

The hotel (Residence Inn) was nice and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good and a welcome addition to the other features of the hotel. It was nice not having to go out to get breakfast. We enjoyed working out in the fitness center. Due to the weather, we could not enjoy the pool and whirlpool. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
