We have stayed here several times in the past. Never had difficulty but did notice the rooms were aging. Unfortunately, this time our first room had a cockroach. They moved us to a second room and that room had a cockroach trap. Did not see any more cockroaches but very sad to see this property going downhill. Really hope they can improve it as we would love to try it again

The hotel itself was fine. $100 a night for an overnight stay while visiting IUP. Staff was competent. The mattresses were fine for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom however had mold/mildew in the shower and on the ceiling. The lamp next to the bed did not have plugs for our phones. We switched lamps since the other one across the room did. When we pulled out the night stand there was garbage under it. The rooms need to be more thoroughly cleaned. Wasn’t a bad experience but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

The manager gave me a late check out because i was working and stayed because we had no electric ssrvice at home due to storms. And we were bright and early for buffet and lady there was super nice to us as well. I opened door and cleaning crew was there and i said we were leaving soon and she said she had a note about late check out and was super nice as well

Room windows were into hallway and curtains couldn't block all the lighting so room wasn't dark at all. Everything is dated, air conditioning was noisy and pillows were flat!

I am sorry you had issues with your stay. Every room in the hotel has blackout curtains. If you would have closed them light couldn't have gotten in. We are working on updating things at the hotel. Because of COVID...everything came to a halt. I hope you come again when all the work is done.

The front office staff were very kind and pleasant so this review does not go against them. I was placed in a room with a Handicap shower. Normally, not a problem. However, I cannot believe that Code would pass off on the safety of this bathroom. The shower floor sloped into the bathroom, of course to allow for wheelchair accessibility, but there were no secondary drains so my bathroom flooded! I just wanted a relaxing shower. Not play maintenance trying to sop up the flood with my towels. This is a HUGE fall risk and is completely unsafe. 2nd, my room was across from these Video game machines and I heard tires screeching the ENTIRE night from this video game. Turn that sound off at night or move that machine away from the rooms.
