There was no prior notification, but the hotel was under major remodeling on the exterior of the building. The inside was updated and was generally fine, except that public areas were not very clean as debris from outside was tracked into the building. On the exterior, the hotel was an entire construction project and workers were frequently walking past our window in our room, so that we kept our windows covered entire time, making the room rather dark. The indoor pool area also was a bit dark and the water temperature was kept a little on the chilly side, which kept our stay in the pool much shorter than anticipated. A major fault of the hotel staff came with the cleanliness of the toilet. Of all places where the staff could overlook when cleaning, the toilet is not the place where this should happen. I informed the front desk after I took care of the problem and they were apologetic and assured me that they would be more thorough the next time. I did not notice any future issues with our room being cleaned but this kind of mistake is not something a reputable hotel should make. I am willing to concede that cleanliness was a challenge for the hotel with the construction, but I am disappointed there wasn't prior notification, or discount in the room price. There was another Hilton property right across the street that I would have preferred to stay at if I had notification. Therefore, I could not recommend this hotel under the conditions we stayed in.

I want to sincerely apologize for the lack of notification about our renovations during your stay. We try to get to everyone and I didn't realize until just a short time ago that anyone booking on a third party website was not being notified of this. I posted the information all over our website to inform our guests of such a large project and I truly am sorry that the information did not translate to other booking sites. Also, I want you to know that we take cleanliness very seriously and I will make sure to address your concerns in our next staff meeting this week. It is unacceptable for something to be unclean in the rooms for our guests, especially when we have disaster all around us! I do appreciate your feedback and will definitely be looking into the issues so that they do not continue to occur. We are, of course, all human, and all make mistakes at some point however we have multiple staff members in a room prior to checking our guests in to try to ensure things like this don't happen. I am sorry I am just now getting to this, I was out much of the month of June with my daughter's wedding and moving her out of state. Thank you again, we cannot improve without your feedback. We hope to retain your loyalty to the Hilton Family of Brands and hope to see you again soon.

This hotel made us feel welcome

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
If I was to ever go back to Indiana this would be a place that I would stay at without a doubt. It was so clean warm , the pool was great everyone was friendly and was able to answer questions and very informative. I would very much tell people about this .

Nice and Clean

I've stayed at this hotel several times. The staff is professional, coureous and helpful. The lobby and rooms are very clean and ample. It is a quiet location with comfortable beds and a nice breakfast buffet. They also offer a free airport shuttle.
