Arrogant service - sales goes before customer datisfaction

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy, service
I am a Starwood Platinum Member and a Hilton Diamond Member so a frequent traveller. Service is arrogant and rules go before customer satisfaction. I reserved a suite to conduct interviews in. A Parksuite was confirmed. After check in I went to my room and it turned out to be a smoking floor. This was not indicated in the reservation confirmation or at check in. All Park suits are apparently smoking rooms. The international standard for a room is non-smoking. A smoking room is an explicit choice by the customer. I went back to check in and I had to pay more get a non-smoking suite. Second: Laundry service is pick-up before 10 am and return before 6 pm. At 6:15 pm laundry was not there, I called guest services and they would call housekeeping and call me back. No return call. I needed to escalate the issue in order to get attention and my laundry. When you walk to the reception you are not greeted. My conclusion is that the hotel is about generating sales and not about servicing customers.

Great location, great views.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, sea views, pool and health club
Cons: pricey restaurants
Good choice for midway between airport and city. Free shuttles to both. Fabulous views over the Bosphorus. Nest to the Galeria, a mega-mall with everything you would require. For a longer visit, would choose a city hotel. This was ideal for a short stay.

Nice to stay

Hi All, I have stayed there for a business meeting. Food was good, rooms were clean and staff was dedicated. I thought that they are little bit far away to the cty center so that we will not have any enough time to go outside and see the famous places of Istanbul but the location of the hotel was good and they have shuttle service to airport and city center on periodic hours. Also transportation was easy to reach.Tthey have a big and nice garden. I recomend Sheraton Istanbul Atakoy Hotel to stay in.
