Great staff, good food, needs better matress!

Pros: Quiet
Cons: No free Internet
We tend to stay always at Barcelo resorts when we go all inclusive because of the food and activities.

Ok if you are on a budget

Cons: No free Internet
Food was just ok. Hotel staff was not very nice. They told us we couldnt take our kids to the formal dinner and there were a lot of annoying kids there and when i asked them about it they said sorry they were full and they couldnt serve our kids. I would recommend the park royal 10 times over this hotel

An enjoyable stay for both of us.

Pros: nice workout room
I liked the food, activities, room and general peacefullness of the hotel. Although very few people use the fitness room, I especially appreciated having this as I'm a competitive cyclist and wanted to work out each day (the stationary bikes were very good).

Great Service!!

First time back to Ixtapa in 10yrs. so wasnt really sure what to expect. I was very pleased with the Barcelo. The room was a bit dated but clean #40whos spending time in the room anyway??#41 The staff was excellent drinks fabulous and the food descent for an all inclusive. You can always find something to eat no matter what time. One night there wasnt guacamole on the buffet so we asked our waiter and he brought it over freshly made. We met many people that stay at Barcelo year after year. We plan on making it an annual stay as well. The weather was perfect every day.

BARCELO HOTEL

not a good hotel, I don't recommend it. They promised a dinner in Quijote Restaurant, but the never accepted us.
