Bugs, open doors and broken windows, dirty linens, Faulty faucets, dirty shower and curtain, marijuana smoke everywhere smoke detector bracket but no smoke detector

Disrepair, shabby looking, peeling paint, loose outlets, NO electricity. The best part was they had running water. The front desk ladies were great. Very friendly, more than willing to help. My best suggestion is to keep up with the weather with the hotels that use service. We had been without power for 3 days and needed a hot shower. The employees were so happy we were not upset.

Price was good, staff was very helpful. Didn't like that they did not have breakfast as stated in description of hotel. Did not have the pool working. this was one of the reasons i picked this hotel. Staff said it has been down for over 4 months. So to me it sounds like they down't want to fix it but they don't take it down as as amenity.

What a terrible, run-down place, peeling paint, loose roof tiles, busted glass. If we stayed more than one night we would've gone somewhere else upon pulling in and taken the financial loss. Looks nothing like the pictures. Everything smells like decades of penetrated cigarette smoke. So much so, that all our clothes we wore inside smelled like smoke when I opened the suitcase upon returning home. The bed skirt was stained and one of the towels provided was still wet. The mattress was very worn and uncomfortable, which makes me think they haven't been replaced in forever, if ever at all! Also, the room was not ready by 3, but luckily we had 2 rooms, so we could at least get ready in one of the 2. We did not feel safe even trying the breakfast, based on how run-down the place was, we didn't trust the food would be fresh. The pool was also closed. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more for a nicer hotel and DO NOT stay here!

The hotel was filthy! The security lock on the door was broken, wouldn't allow us to a room with a working lock. Pillows were dirty, apolstered chair was filthy, cigarette burns in a comforter, no breakfast, pool down for maintenance, looks like the place is falling apart. Requested late check out, had to pay for it, housekeeping knocked on the door at 10am, asking when we were leaving even though we had a do not disturb sign on the door. Bathroom was dirty as well! The wall above the shower head had mold, and the water pressure in the shower was just above a trickle. Took 5 minutes just to get my hair wet and a good 10-15 to get the shampoo out. The whole place smeeled like cigarette smoke and weed. Not a good experience at all.

This hotel is outdated the repairs that have been done is just ok and is very notable. Mold in shower and no remote to television. The staff was very nice I called about the remote and the gentleman came promptly and corrected the issue there. And unfortunately this night the city had a water main break so we had no water until about 11pm.

My stay at Days Inn Albion, MI

Pros: The price
Cons: The overall maintenance of the rooms. Making sure that EVERYTHING is working properly and all damage is repaired properly & not just painted over.
Location: Albion, MI, right off the Interstate. I was there for a Men's Church Conference.
Checking in there was very to little no conversation between myself & the individual at the front desk besides the exchanging of my credit card information & I.D. to check into my room. It was a lengthy process and I believe it was because he was more like a maintenance person (that's how he was dressed) than someone who worked the front. When the person that did work the front walked in she looked surprised to see me standing there. Entering my room the first thing that I noticed was the bed, the mattress was deeply sunken in in the middle. Made me wonder how long has it been since they purchased new mattresses or even turned them. The room smelled clean, looked clean so I was comfortable with that and I check everything. Few things that I found wrong: #1. One of the lamps next to the bed did not work. #2. The refrigerator that was in the room did not work, it was plugged in, the thermostat was turned to the coldest setting, but it never turned on & plenty of condensation inside of it. So much for having cold drinks/water that I purchased for that reason. #3. The walls above the shower were painted over what looked like water damage. Unpleasing to look at. For the price, it served its purpose.

Rude disgusting slow. Unattentive, just for starte

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Staff cleanliness the staff is so creepy.
Rude staff. Dog feces on floor in room bags gone Thur no towels both times at the pull no plugged in lights in room
