The pool is inoperable. It still had a cover on it that was caving in. The free continental breakfast was a brown bag with a mini bottle of water, an apple and a pre packages danish. No coffee maker in room as described. I will say the room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Which was the most important part considering we were basically only sleeping there. It is on a main highway so very, very noisy for bedtime. We ran a sound machine and that drowned out most of it!

Hello, We are sorry for the inconvenience, however due to COVID regulations, Wyndham requires us to serve breakfast that is pre-packages and in to go bags. We also try to keep coffee makers out of the room for now for customers health. However, upon request, we do provide coffee maker if the guest wishes to have one. Our pool has been closed since the pandemic started last year. We hope to have it open as soon as it is deemed safe to do so. We appreciate you taking the time to reply, and hope your stay with us next time is much better. Thank you, Management

We liked the location, as it was close to the venue we were visiting. It was clean & stocked. I’ce machine didn’t work. Would stay there again if we traveled back to the area.

The place is old and beat up. The maintenance is shoddy at best. The floor in the room was uneven, there was wood filler on the door jams, the shower had black stains in the porcelain, the plug in the tub wasn't made for that tub, the stairs to my room were rusty and pitted. The furnishings are outdated and stained. The pillows were small and lumpy. This hotel was nothing like the photos when I booked it. The maid service and the hotel staff were very good though. Really sketchy area lots of traffic noise and some rough folks hanging around. I only stayed because I already paid for it ahead of time.

Renee was very pleasant. Room were not as clean as I am used to. The floors left black, greasy residue on the bottom of my feet which transferred to the white, pitted sheets on the bed.

We apologize. Your room was inspected and found not to have bed bugs. We have Pest control services come out to inspect any and all rooms with bed bug claims. Because there was no evidence of bugs found by pest control experts, we do not offer refunds. We apologize

desk staff are wonderful and very helpful and friendly. breakfast was good but not positioned well. cream for coffee near the window was warm and spoiled. waffle maker in corner hard to get to and line blocked other items people were trying to get to. An example would be to get a piece of bread to toast, you are reaching over/through the waffle line and then to get to the toaster you are squeezed between the waffle line and the tables. one women making waffles for her family of four that was seated passing items between the line. beds comfy and clean. floor was so super dirty. I dripped water on the floor emptying my cooler and took a couple of Kleenex the wipe the water up and they were black with dirt. I then tried another area on the floor just to see if it was just dirty in the one area but it was also just as dirty as the main walk way. please change your signs/hangers to say no cleaning service needed or something that makes your needs known. we have stayed here before and we have always enjoyed our stay. we will come back, we always enjoy out stay, these are small issues.

Excellent Place to Stay

Pros: Location, near everything
Cons: Thicker walls. We could clearly hear people talking in the next room.
Our Room was very clean. We have never been to Jacksonville NC and the staff was very friendly and helpful with directions to various place we wanted to go. Many different breakfast items to choose from. Cereal, Microwave items, Bagel, Waffles & Fruit. The restaurant attached had excellent food, great prices.
