This property is in serious need of an upgrade and very in depth cleaning. first room had black ? from the ceiling vent that looked like black mold, second room was better but musty smelling. Hard floor in kitchen area and bathroom was sticky and table top as well. when at local store we got out own cleaning products and cleaned. would not use microwave due to rust inside around the door. front door had been patched repeatedly and did not fully lock, only just enough I will say that the staff was exceptionally friendly, and did try to help with some issues. problem is the property is in serious need of repaid/upgrade.

Despite the bad reviews, we had a good stay.

Pros: Rooms were clean. Beds were comfy and room was very spacious. Kitchen and fridge are clean. We had a king size bed that had a pull out couch.
Cons: Room and bathroom are a little outdated, design wise, and could use an update.
Location: Pretty good area, not in a bad part of town. LOTS of restaurants, shopping centers and gas stations, stores, etc within walking distance.
We have stayed in Extended Stay America before, in NC. My husband actually stayed there for 3 months while working out of town, and I would come visit every weekend. The place was always clean with no problems. Therefore, I trusted to stay with them again, in FL this time. However, I had a few people tell me that the FL location was actually in bad shape and got bad reviews. I had already booked the room and there was no backing out. I was so nervous that we were going to arrive and have a horrible experience. THAT WASN'T THE CASE. The room was being cleaned when we got there, after check-in time, so we had to wait around for about 30 mins. But, I didn't mind as I knew the room was actively being cleaned. Contrary to the bad reviews I read.... NO BUGS, ROOM WAS CLEAN, BED WAS COMFY AND IT WAS IN A DECENT PART OF TOWN. All in all, you get what you pay for...the rooms are out dated and could use some remodeling. But, you have to keep in mind that you aren't paying $$$ for a high class room. So it shouldn't be a big deal as long as your room is clean, bed comfy, and in a safe enviroment.

Not good

Saw bugs refrigerator made a loud noise at 5:30 am I had to unplug it from the wall trash out side in the parking lot

The hotel advertises smoke free facility. However, our room smelled of cigarette smoke and there were cigarette holes in the sheets and comforter. Pitiful breakfast. Coffee only in the morning.

The worst waste of money !

The cleaning was poor. We used our towels to clean the floor. The staff was not helpful when we checked in to no ac . There were a few issues and they could have been avoided if the cleaning staff had reported them as maintenance issues or took pride in doing the job they were hired to do. Very sad that this hotel is in a good location but the staff doesn't seem to care about making this a place people want to stay again .

The room needs to be remodeled. Nasty carpets, bedspreads with tears in them. Showers nasty. I would not stay there again.

Decent if you are on a budget

Pros: Price was decent
Cons: Needs elevator, ice machine, furniture and carpets need cleaning
Location: Located next to major interstate and large shopping plaza with lots of food options and stores
The location was great it was about 15 minutes away from the beach and located right off of a major interstate. I also liked that it was close to a busy shopping plaza with lots of food choices nearby. The hotel room was a bit old and dingy from many years of wear and tear but the room was mostly clean. The bedding was comfortable and I liked that it didn't have that clunky AC unit that most hotels have. The staff was pleasant enough and the check in and out process was quick and easy. I didn't like that this hotel did not have an elevator. My room was on the second floor near the back of the hotel and I was traveling with a small child so it made it difficult to maneuver. I also didn't see an ice machine anywhere. The "continental" breakfast was lacking it was just coffee or hot tea and instant grits or muffins. Overall I probably wouldn't stay here again unless other hotels were booked. The price was decent but I was expecting more.

I was very afraid to come in and out of my room at night. There were questionable people hanging around the parking lot when I got there.
