I first want to apologize for any inconvenience you encountered during your visit with our Hampton Inn. We are sorry we were not able to provide you with a better quality of service. This is not typical of our usual Hamptonality and welcoming staff, our goal is to provide outstanding customer experience. I also realize the importance of a clean, fresh smelling guest room, especially in these trying times. We participate in the Hilton "Clean Stay" program to assure our guests that their room has been serviced and sealed prior to their arrival. Be assured I have shared your comments with our "Team" so we can better serve all future guests. I am glad I was able to speak with you at check out about your issues and personally apologize for the inconvenience we caused you. I also was able to explain that we are unable to modify the rates booked through a 3rd party and you would need to contact them with issues about your rate. I was even happier that I was able to refund your one night stay as promised to show our commitment to your stay and even highlighted it for you on your receipt prior to your departure and explained it takes two to three business days for it to appear back in your account. I even followed up with you to assure you had received the credit and you advised you had. I do hope you will give us the opportunity going forward to show you our continued commitment to meeting your satisfaction when you next visit the Island.
