I don’t know who hires the staff, but they know what they’re doing. Every single person was awesome. They’re helpful and very friendly. Only complaint is the same with any high end hotel. You’re quoted and pay in advance for your stay. They also tell you what you will have to pay at the hotel. It was twice as much, and we didn’t do anything to cause the increase.

Excellent upon arrival!! The bellman prompt and attentive - Salt restaurant incredible! Met the Chef ! Toured the kitchen - Phil GM was so hospitable !! Amazing experience

We’ve stayed at Omni Amelia for years and never had any issues. But not this time. We booked through Travelocity and I guess the resort treats those guests differently as our room was far away from main hotel lobby and it’s February so not really a peak time. Bathroom in our room seemed to have not been cleaned. There was toothpaste spatter on the sink fixture even though mirror seemed clean. The glass on the shower door was streaked & dirty looking shower floor but just dated enough that you couldn’t tell. When told someone was going to come check it out /clean, no one showed up. We had been in communication with the hotel via text message about the issue so by the time they responded we were ready for bed. They offered us free breakfast for our party. We settled on that and went to bed. Beds were fine. In the morning I went to shower and put a towel down on floor of shower since it was questionable. After I showered reached for a folded up towel and noticed it did not feel like a clean towel. After examining the towel there was mascara and MUCUS as if someone blew their nose. We were disgusted. My husband called the manager and we got a few things comped and free breakfast but nothing will make me forget that awful experience. It was supposed to be a nice getaway for me and my daughter as a graduation gift. We couldn’t wait to leave that room (728). Needless to say, we won’t be back. Which is very sad because we had enjoyed the resort for years with our family.

This property was overall a huge disappointment. From the moment we got there till the moment we left, it was very underwhelming. 1. Valet was very rushed and busy. 2. The room was dirty and outdated. You’d think they could have newer outlet face plates. A huge stain was on the bathroom floor that looked like an old blood stain. Thank God we brought Lysol wipes because the counter tops were filthy. 3. Breakfast buffet was $90 for 3 adults. Food was disgusting. 4. Parking was either $27 for valet a night or $20 for self parking. If you want a cart for your luggage, you have to use valet and use a bellhop. 5. Beds were hard as a rock. No extra blankets provided. 6. Balcony door was impossible to open 7. Mini fridge in the room stayed warm the entire time 8. Walls were paper thin. Could hear everything. 9. Heater in the room didn’t work Only good things to say: 1. Property well landscaped 2. Nice check in/ front desk staff 3. Cold AC Overall for the money, a very disappointing trip. If we return to Amelia Island, we’ll be staying at the Ritz.

I thought the parking was not secure. There were no distinctive signs explaining how to get to hotel from parking lol. It felt unsafe .
