Spiders all over room could tell it wasn’t cleaned well. Basic clean not filthy but spider guts where others were killed on walls and ceiling but not wiped up by cleaning people. Would think there would be a service for insects at a hotel too many, expect to c soon but nothing like that. Horrible!!

Horrible!!

Pros: The man driving the shuttle to and from the hotel.
Cons: Everything!
It was horrible the last time I was there and it was horrible again. So much for giving it a second try. You would think by the rate I paid and being a casino hotel it would be much nicer. NOPE! It was a very busy weekend due to racing in Joliet. The breakfast area was understaffed, ran out of food, prayed the toilet would flush properly every time it was used, food from last guest left in fridge. Machines do not pay out at all. We decided to try Harrah's downtown... within an hour most of us won back the money we lost at Hollywood.

Provided a comfortable service

Pros: Clean
Cons: Exercise facilities, addition dining options near by
Would have been nice to have exercise facilities. Also would have been nice have a few dining options. Breakfast was ok. Ran out of plates (plastic).

Hi Patrick, Thanks for staying with us. A Fitness Center for guests is definitely in the works and the hope is to have this done by year end. Staying during the first part of the week does have its Cons but the pro would be that at the front desk are a variety of menus from nearby restaurants that delivery to the hotel. Meh

The hotel isn't connected to the casino so you either have to take a shuttle that makes you seem like you have to til the driver. The standard king room has no fridge and the room is outdated.

The shuttle that is offered to all guest is complimentary and it's solely up to the rider if you want to tip. We tend to agree that our standard rooms are in need of some updates and efforts are in place to them by years end. Thanks so much for your feedback.

Customer Value to Casino

Pros: Not much.
Cons: Update decor, improve sound proofing. Don't bug customers about getting to the Casino. Better free breakfast.
The room was spartan in the extreme. The energy was unpleasant. The decoration was of another era. There was no refrigerator. The generic 'Kleenex' was like sandpaper and scratched my face. It was so noisy when other guests passed by that you couldn't sleep. The air conditioner did a great job, but could not be set on continuous fan so that the constant cycling on and off disturbed sleep. The free breakfast was awful. The elevator was a little sketchy. Other riders mentioned this, too. The maid came to clean the room so early we were not ready to leave. However, the staff was very friendly. Annoyingly, the first thing they said to us when we checked in after 11PM after a long day of driving was : When are you going to the Casino and we can get you a ride. After spending an uncomfortable night in the hotel we wouldn't even consider going to the Casino. It would have been nice to satisfy our curiosity and check it out whether or NOT we would gamble. I think Casinos would be ahead to improve the hotels they have to ensure that guests are truly comfortable and want to stay to gamble.
