Our Pine Lake Retreat offers the ultimate package for lakefront relaxation and entertainment! Enjoy our 60’ of sandy lakefront on Pine Lake 1, great for swimming on summer days, and enjoy relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the lake! Pine Lake is a 660 acre all-sports lake that includes 4 total lakes, all connected, and is perfect to explore by boat! Pine Lake features a spectacular 4th of July fireworks show each summer and is a favorite spot for fishing tournaments as well! The main house offers 2 bedrooms with one King sized bed and one queen sized bed. For additional sleeping space, we have a guest bunk-room just steps away from the front door (it is not directly connected to the house but very close by). This additional sleeping space offers 2 twin-over-full bunk beds and has heat and air conditioning. Please Note: we close the bunk-room during the Winter months (November 1 through April 1). If you will need to use the bunk house during the winter, please just let us know when you book your stay as we charge $25 extra per night for use of the bunk-room.

The main house features an open-flow from the kitchen to the dining area to the living room with a great view of the lake the moment you open the front door! The living and dining rooms offer plenty of seating for guests and a cozy gas fireplace. The large deck overlooking the lake offers plenty of space to entertain and relax. We offer a comfortable outdoor sofa to lounge and relax, porch swings, an outdoor gas fire table, gas grill, a dining table, a fire pit by the water, and a 6-person hot tub with a gorgeous view of the lake! We provide 2 single person kayaks and 1 two-person kayak for your enjoyment. If you would like to explore the lake even further, we offer a pontoon boat rental for an additional cost. Please note, for liability purposes we cannot allow tubing. Please reach out to us for additional information regarding renting our pontoon boat.

In the winter time Pine Lake is very popular for ice fishing and snowmobiling, and also offers great ice skating! For the ski/snowboard/snow tubing enthusiast, there are a few different ski hills just a small drive away as well!

After spending the day on the lake, enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub overlooking the lake and wind down in the cozy oasis that we have created on the deck!

Overall, the stay at this property was great - relaxing and peaceful location overlooking the lake plus a hot tub for relaxing under the stars! The host was super responsive and helpful with questions. My only complaint is that there were some items/areas of the house that could have used more attention... The dining room chairs and couches had several stains and some of the silverware was still dirty. The fireplace wasn't working and the reclining part of the couch seemed pretty wobbly. These weren't issues that made us disappointed with our stay, but would have been nice to have these details addressed before we stayed. We really did have a relaxing and enjoyable weekend and appreciated the space to enjoy some time away!

We never figured out how to get the fire places working, followed the directions, no luck, someone’s dirty underwear in the bench in the bedroom. In the bright side the hot tub was great, it was a nice space and we had a good time, the lake was pretty with the ducks!

Beautiful house.
My husband and I stayed here in the winter for a weekend away. The house was great. Very comfortable and accommodating and very clean. The owners were also very friendly and great to work with. The only thing that was disappointing was the hot tub. It was one of the reasons we chose this property and I was so disappointed at the cleanliness of it. It was very cloudy and had almost a greenish cast. The hot tub walls had scum and black build up. The back jets only worked on the low setting. One of the jets was floating in the hot tub and the lift for the cover was broken which made it very difficult to get on and off. We were pretty bummed. We sat in it for about 10 minutes and we’re so grossed out we got out. I truly loved the property and the area. That was the only my downfall.

Before I go into details, I just wanna say that the host was great when we had an issue or a concern or a question we sent a note and he responded quickly. Now about the property, to get to the house, you have to go down a set of steep wooden stairs that in the winter can get icy and be slippery at times. Also, the water at the property seems to be well watered or hard water and has a lot of iron in it which is why we only got to use the hot tub once and made it incredibly hard to do a lot of cooking. The cookware in the property could use some updating. It was nice to have pots and pans but they were a little bit out of date and could’ve used some upgrades. The nice living room couch, which has the option to put out the footrest using electronic switches does not work so it was not as comfortable as we had hoped. Also beware the next-door neighbor has a wandering cat and a dog that likes to bark at all hours of the morning and also in the evening. during our day, we also noticed that somebody must’ve had a cat at the property because when we tried to vacuum to clean the house, it was clogged, and when we cleaned it out, it was full of all kinds of cat nonsense and the bunkhouse where the children stayed smelled very much like cat . The Wi-Fi is also not 5G so it was difficult for us to work from home to actually be able to stay on the Internet when you have more than one person online and also work the smart television. The kayaking was great. For the money not again.
