Did not stay.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: It should be taken off the list.
Location: Best Western is nearby a little higher but has a wonderful breakfast included and a warm friendly staff.
What I asked for was not reserved. I wanted non smoking, two full beds. What they had was two twin beds for 3 adults. Then they said could get two full beds in smoking, If they could find a blanket. We stayed somewhere else. They did not charge due to the lack of what I requested.

This place is terrible

Pros: The staff was pleasant - and very apologetic about the misleading marketing on this website. And there were no bed-bugs in our room.
Cons: EVERYTHING!! This place is outdated, smelly and gross.
To start - the photos on Travelocity of this "hotel" are not the property you will be staying at. They are a completely different property - the "hotel" staff is aware and annoyed at this. Where do I start? The fact that this isn't a hotel, it's a studio apartment extended stay that looked like a set for a horror film? The overfull garbage rotting in the breezeway on every floor? The lack of staffed front desk, you had to call them on a filthy phone outside to come let you in? The rank stench of stale smoke and dirty ashtray in a "non-smoking" room? The threadbare carpet and dingy bedding? The bathrooms that were only clean in the middle part of the floor (edges and corners were caked with gunk)? Everything about this place was nothing like it was advertised to be.

Not very clean

When I went to check in at the front desk the first thing I noticed was that the rug in the reception area really needed to be vacuumed. That first impression pretty much exemplified the level of cleanliness of this place. As soon as we entered our room we immediately noticed the room smelled terrible. It was a B.O. smell that permeated the whole room. Thankfully we were given a different room. And it seemed every time we used the elevator we were met with a different odor. I understand this isn't a ritzy hotel with high end amenities but there could certainly be more attention placed on basic cleaning of the facilities.

Decent for the price.

The staff was excellent! When we went to the room, it was less than desirable. The front desk instantly changed our room without any problem.

Hotel convenient rt off Expressway

Pros: Located near lot of convenience.
Cons: Normal things that are in a hotel room should be there. (ex) cups, ice bucket
Location: Was just there for the day
Hotel was quiet but I was thirsty from the long hot day and just wanted a drink of cold water

Great Place to Stay

Pros: Great Location, Quiet and was a kitchenette so we did not have to eat out.
Cons: Nothing really
Location: Don't know we spent most of the time down town and seeing the Harry S. Truman stuff
We were vacationing in Kansas City. Great Hotel. Everything about it worked out well.

Some defects but good enough for the price

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: no breakfast
There were no towels since they were all being washed. Staff slow to check-in. Not all the outlets worked in our room. None of this affected our stay. We had a great nights sleep in a safe area.
