The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. It could have used more or better lighting in the room. The TV channel guide was wrong and I couldn't find HBO like it advertised.

The first room we checked into was filthy. The second room the tub wouldn't hold water. The keys became deactivated and we had to wait about 30min until someone could let us back into our room. It states continental breakfast, but if you weren't down there before 7am then there was nothing left to eat. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!!

Front Desk Attendant Utterly Indifferent

Pros: Nothing. We vacated at 5:00 a.m., many hours earlier than planned, in order to put a terrible experience behind us.
Cons: See above.
Power went out on third floor ten minutes after check in, leaving us in the dark short of ambient light from street lamps through the window. Bathroom was in total blackout. Front desk attendant said power was out in only half the building but was unwilling to move us to a room with power, provide a flashlight, or make any effort at accommodating us. It was clear that the facility was not at more than 30% capacity, the front desk attendant never suggested that a room with power was unavailable, it just seemed as if the request was more hassle than she was willing to deal with. We had an event to attend in a few hours and could not unpack, shower, or do anything but twiddle our thumbs in the dark. After traveling all day, our phones were dead, so no light available from that source. If guest safety were a concern for Quality Inn-Blue Springs’ staff members, a flashlight would have been offered. Power to the single guest elevator was not restored during our stay, so I can only hope no one with mobility issues was hostage on an upper floor as I can’t imagine any assistance would have been offered by hotel staff. The front desk attendant’s response to every query was to shrug and assure us that the outage had been reported. Her complete indifference and failure to attempt even small accommodations was infuriating.

OK but, could be Better!

Pros: The indoor pool.
Cons: Better maintain the rooms and get rid off ANY smells in the hallways.
Location: The hotel is not far off the highway and easy to get to. Food is easy to get nearby.
The hotel is not far off the highway and easy to get to. The indoor pool is a nice plus! The rooms could be better, had the handle coming off one of the doors and the bathroom sink would not drain. There was a smell in the hallway that was bad but, wasn't in the room. This place will do for one night to get some rest and move on but, you couldn't pay me to stay there anymore than that.

Good location

Nicely updated facility, a few areas where the worksmanship was poor, but that's the hotels issue with the contractor. Nice breakfast area for a morning charge up before the road.

Good for the Price

My son and I stayed one night at this place. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly. The continental breakfast had some hot items as well (waffles and sausage). It is a good value for the price. It seems some hotels are charging more than the reserved price. The charge at checkout was the same as the amount stated in the reservation. I would stay at this place again if I was in the area.

Pretty nice for the price

This hotel is mostly just what you'd expect, however, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness (above average throughout, enough to make you feel really comfortable), the spaciousness and layout of our room, and the presence of an indoor pool and hot tub (although it is rather small and could use some updating). We enjoyed our continental breakfast; the kids were happy to find waffles, although some of the other promised items like cinnamon rolls were missing. The location is great and it was very quiet. All in all this is the best hotel I've ever stayed at in the two-star hotel class.

Needs Good Cleaning

Bathroom Mirror dirty. Hallways smell moldy. Needs serious cleaning...Lighting is alot to be disired, probably so you cant see the dirt..
