Overall - it's a nice place to stay.

Pros: NONSMOKING HOTEL In general, I liked the place very much. The Internet is fast, never dropped out. Breakfast is pretty standard, but decent.
Cons: Telephony.
This is a nice place to stay. I like the staff and a lovely parrot in the lobby(Bosha). The hotel is not really big, but it's new, clean and right next to the big supermarket which is a plus for those who never visited Kiev before and don't know the city and where to buy food. The Subway is less than five minutes walk straight down the Drujba Narodov Blvd(rus. Friendship of Nations Boulevard). It's four stops away from the city center. For my two week stay in this hotel I found only two downsides. One was not a big deal, but another one caused some inconvenience. a) The bed - it's soft. Not really a big deal and could be a plus for some folks, but it's a small con in my book. b) and this is where "b" stands for BIG ONE - "Free local calls" feature shown on in the listing. This is a somewhat typical catch 22... You can call any local LAND LINE number, but not on cell phone (and just for the record - about 90% of phone calls in Kiev are made via cell phones). And besides that all incoming calls to my room could not go through for some reason. They could not connect an outside call to my room. Other details: Although they list daily housekeeping, and they do, but they don't change the bed sheets daily. Personally, I am fine with it and it's not a con for me, but for some people it might not be pleasing.

Very nice hotel, great staff and a nice Parrot

A very nice hotel that isn't too far from the center of Kiev. Very nice western style hotel rooms. Friendly staff and a very talkative Gray Parrot in the Lobby, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. And they have a nice cafe, if you don't have time to grab a meal somewhere else.

Beautiful stay in Kiev (couple)

Pros: Minimal design (ish), cleanliness, and a good breakfast. The hotel room itself was great. The staff
Cons: Maybe buffet type of breakfast? Maybe.
Location: Supermarket nearby had everything we needed.
It is small, but it is WELL decorated. Minimalist, beautiful colors, very clean, very inviting. I would recommend anyone to stay here. They asked us to pick a breakfast from a list for the next morning-- which was different that what I was used to, but it was filling and delicious. Other than that, it was a great choice to stay here. The bed was exceptionally comfy!! And what great staff! They welcomed us right away, helped with luggage and explained how some things in the room worked.
