Modern and clean hotel

Helpful, friendly staff. Nice pool/hot tub. Great hotel for an away from the ordinary experience.

This hotel was awesome.

Pros: The staff, wonderful.
Cons: Really nothing.
Location: It was walking distance to downtown and my daughter's home.
I loved the decor. The staff was so friendly and really went out of their way to meet my every need. the lobby was so nice, a fire surround by fabulous furniture. The room was super with two queen beds and was so clean. I loved the bathroom with it's grey and white. The pool was lovely as was the hot tub and sauna. So relaxing. I also used the gym which was spacious and well equipped. All and all I could not have been happier. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Wow - this property has it going ON!

Pros: My room was terrific - very spacious, immaculate and with a very nice selection of finishes and technology. Great bar/restaurant in the hotel also.
Cons: I would have really liked it if the windows in my room had been cleaner. Had trouble keeping the fitted sheets tucked in, but that seems typical.
Location: Waterloo is a lovely town with a nice, small-town feel to it. There's a terrific recreation complex near the hotel and many very good restaurants.
I had a wonderful four-day stay at the Delta Waterloo. It's a very new, very modern property and virtually every aspect of the physical property and the guest experience was outstanding. The room was wonderful and had some fantastic touches, such as the ability to turn off all of the room lights from a bedside switch, a smart desk with pre-wired connections to the HDMI and ethernet inputs to the television and a motion activated, low-level nightlight in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and accommodating, knowledgeable about the local area and eager to go a step beyond typical levels of service. For example, I had occasion to spend some time at the front desk and in a number of transactions with departing guests, I never heard the staff fail to ask whether the guest needed directions or other assistance. I've worked in the hospitality business and I was very, very impressed with the excellent culture of service in evidence at this hotel.
