J&K's Getaway is a quiet retreat and perfect for your weekend or week-long getaway to the Outer Banks! This newly constructed apartment is beautifully designed and decorated complete with a furnished kitchen, full bath, king size bed and living room. Perfect for resting after spending a day at the beach and in the sun! Linens and towels are provided and waiting for your stay. Located in the sought after Southern Shores community, you will be provided a pass for all the community amenities. This pass will provide you access to a private beach access, a sound park for beautiful sunsets, access to the marina- so bring your boat! Plus other amenities. We are also less then a 2 mile drive to the Kitty Hawk Beach access. There is a fire pit on site for relaxing evenings by the fire.

Lovely relaxing stay in Southern Shores
I had a lovely, relaxing and quiet stay at John's property. It's located on a beautiful cul de sac that backs up to a canal - saw a Snowy Egret looking for frogs twice. The trees around the yard are full of singing birds. It's a great location without all the traffic and noise of the beach. Really comfortable bed and living room. I'm sure I'll be back.

What a special spot!!!
This apartment was just the best. It had everything you would need and more. We were there for a short visit and it was the best. We visited all the marinas and parks in Southern Shores and enjoyed the beach. Supplying the pass for these sites was an unexpected plus. Thank youmWe hope to return for a longer stay next time.

Lovely "Get-Away"
This place was absolutely perfect. It's located on a very quiet, peaceful loop - no noise from cars racing up and down Rt 12. The décor was lovely and relaxing. You're provided a pass to Southern Shores locations on the Sound and one which provides beach access. The owners were quick to respond to all my questions. I completely enjoyed myself and would definitely stay there again.

I can't say enough good things about this property and the folks who own it! This was our second stay here and i wouldn't look anywhere else ....it is clean, comfortable and cozy. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful. Incredibly tucked away and yet so convenient to our favorite beaches, restaurants and golf course. An exceptional place with great privacy and perfect communication with John and his wife. 5 stars PLUS!

We had a wonderful few days—too few—at this property. It was conveniently situated with regard to the beaches and all the local attractions. It was very comfortably furnished.
