For proposing that this is a 5-star hotel is a bit much. Although some of the staff was quite friendly, I was surprised by the desk staffs' difficulty to smile. Our room was quite small and not well maintained. The tops of all surfaces needed a good scrub, and the lockbox and hairdryer did not work. Furthermore, there were two nightclubs on the property. You could hear the thumping from the bass until the early morning (mind you we were on the 4th floor). I was not impressed when I checked in because many of the drunk club patrons had spilled onto the lobby during our check-in. Overall, the hotel requires a proper updating in terms of cleanliness and staff friendliness.
