I love that this hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to the Kyoto train station and being on the south side sees fewer tourists. The staff here are wonderful but be forewarned you are best served having earplugs because you can hear a pin drop on the sidewalk…..even if you’re on the 6th floor.

I use this hotel as my base for my annual Japan vacay. All is good, the only downside remains the level of noise heard from the street, even though my room is on the 6th floor. One word: earplugs are a must 😉

Excellent location, good value for money!
Nice stay in a great location. Our room was quite small so no where to put our suitcases. Bathroom was also tiny which didn’t matter too much. Value for money on this hotel was excellent so can’t complain too much. Kyoto station on its doorstep with many supermarkets which is handy. Recommend highly!
