This is my favorite place to stay when visiting Kyoto. It is right in the train station and convenient to trains, buses and taxis. The rooms are very quiet. I rode the Shinkansen several times and just had to walk to the train tracks. It also has trains that go to many of the temples as well as the airport in Osaka. I am older, and it has been perfect for me.

I loved this hotel, especially its location in Kyoto Station. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. They helped us ship our luggage to Tokyo. Our room was perfect for two people and had a nice view of the city and the bullet trains. There are so many dining locations just steps from the hotel inside Tokyo Station, in addition to the ones inside the hotel. Getting around Kyoto was very convenient with Kyoto Station just outside the hotel. I would stay here again.
