Beautiful rooms, off the beaten path, with a nice, quiet environment that's hard to come by in Japan. Overall, our favorite spot to stay in Japan (so far!).

Resi Stay Higashiyama Sanjo

Cons: make sure the place is clean and dusked properly.
I was excited to visit Japan and stay in this rental. However, was highly disappointed. The description didn't match the actual room. There was no mention of checking in and the rental being in 2 different location. It was time consuming to have to check in then go to the rental. In addition, the rental was actually a little sketch. It was in a dark alley way. Even the taxi drivers didn't know how to get there. They attempted to drop us off couple blocks away; however, being travelers; we didn't know the direction either. The description also said that this is a non-pet room; however, the room door has a pet door. There must have been a pet in their prior to my stay due to the fake that as soon as my boyfriend and I had major allergy attack in the room. It was hard to even stay there. Horrible! Horrible!!! I would never recommend this place to any friend.

It makes us to offer you the rooms at reasonable price. Also this Reception Counter is moving to in front of Kyoto station. We hope this move makes check in process easier for the guest. The whole building was renovated before we start handling this building as accommodation. So there should not be anything from animal attacks you.
