The room was very spacious as well as clean. It appeared newly remodeled. It was unfortunate the pool was closed but overall it was a great stay. The price was excellent, especially for the quality of the room.

Close to damn and family where they lived.the hotel said tbey had a swimming pool but didnt. The ice tray had water left in it. There was no breakfast and no ice machine. The worker was nice

The invisible microwave and fridge, elec. problems

Pros: Location near Comanche Grasslands Ranger Station. Some renovation had been done, is ongoing right now.
Cons: Everything.The Manager asked how our stay was. I told her. She said the hotel was closed for a long time and she was told to open it though not ready.
Location: Picketwire tour starts nearby. Near highway. Small town, so near everything.
No microwave, no fridge,(even though advertise), non-working coffee maker and phone, no bulbs in one light, one bulb in another but light did not work.(Manager brought bulbs and an extension cord!) Bright bath light could not be turned off, on 24/7. Heavy comforter on bed with no alternate, so too hot. Huge pillows, had to use 2 towels instead to avoid neck pain. Door did not lock, only the upper safety latch. Pool looked niice, but no way to get to outdoor pool, all doors and gates locked. Non-existent breakfast even though advertised. One bag of bagels for all of us to fight over. A few tiny muffins, piece of lemon bread. No toaster, no cereal, no milk.One small container of cream cheese to fight over. If you want ice, "bring your bucket from room (there wasn't one in my room), and staff will go into restaurant next door and get ice". If it wasn't so upsetting it would have been funny! We were counting on at least a minimun bkfst. as going on all-day Picketwire tour at 8am. Once discovered that there was nothing, it was too late. Find another place to stay! (Manager may be refunding our bill.)
