Room for improvement

Pros: The location was fine.
Cons: Improvement on attitude, hotel accommodation, understanding tourism, offering more options, attending to requests in a timely manner. Consistency.
The overall experience at De Santos Hotel was quite disappointing. There were way too many issues that arose during our stay. For starters, the hotel staff did not communicate anything at check-in regarding breakfast times, wi-fi access, amenities, or provide any offers of assistance regarding what was available to see/do in the area. I feel that if the staff would have been a bit more informed, it would help to ease the experience. The first stay actually extended another day and on the return there was again no improvement, with attitudes and issues to boot. Staff tried to keep our change from room service, TV channels didn't work, staff at check-in was very rude when we asked to clarify a very simple request, no business center was available on site and wi-fi was very intermittent. We asked for an additional towel since there was only 1 in the bathroom and received attitude--again, a simple request as 2 people can't use 1 towel. There were just too many unnecessary inconveniences and absolutely no accommodation for basic requests. I regret not staying at the previous hotel we stayed.
