AREA WIDE NOTICE: Lake Lure will undergo a drawdown from January 1st, 2024, through the first quarter of 2024(March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet have been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. For more information, click here. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. This will not affect the smaller lakes in the area, only Lake Lure itself.

Casa Carroll is a cozy single-level Lake Lure lakefront cottage with a well-appointed interior. It is ideal for a romantic or quiet, peaceful getaway. There is Wi-Fi Internet and 2 Smart TVs. This home is 6.8 miles to the Beach at Lake Lure, 8.1 miles to Chimney Rock State Park, and 18.5 miles to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC).

Upon entering, there is a wonderful sunroom. Then you walk through the door to a nice open living space, a comfortable sofa that is also a sleeper, a small tidy kitchen with an island, and large glass doors allowing the incredible lake and mountain views to jump right into the cottage.

The king-size bed in the bedroom makes for a relaxing retreat after a day at the lake or fun area activities, and there is a full bathroom accessible from the bedroom and the living area. If you want to bring additional guests, the sofa converts to a queen-size bed.

The dock at the lakeside is a great place to sit and dangle your feet in the water or bring your boat for use on the lake (see the boating regulations for additional information).

Lake Lure Beauty Year-Round
This home is perfect for every season. The bushes and trees on the shady wooded lot and down the long drive will begin filling with leaves in spring. Summer weather in the area is great most of the time. Autumn brings plenty of visitors to the area for the extraordinary colors. They are even more beautiful when reflected on the lake. With the absence of leaves on the trees in winter, you will see entirely new landscapes.
